Vox Pop - Is Christianity the religion of the white man?

Paula Brown, 35, Sales Representative: "Christianity doesn't come from a white perspective. Christianity is a part of our lifestyle, which we choose to live by and believe in."

Caswall Cotterell, 23, Sales Clerk: "No, I don't think so because God made us all and what is good for one, is good for all. I don't think it's the white man who brought about Christianity... it's there from before the birth of Christ."

Loraine Shacklewood, 33, Hairstylist: "Maybe it is the religion of the white man, but whatever colour or whatever race you belong to, it should be endorsed by everyone, even though Rastafarians don't see it as a part of their religion."

Demice Richards, 21, Middleweight Body Builder: "No, it's not the religion of the white man because if it was, why do they commit so much cruelty on the Earth? You never heard of a black man strapping himself with bombs to do suicide killings. Also they (the white men) were the creator of the weapons of destruction."

Raymond Dallas, 18, Student: "Yes it is the religion of the white man, and, they (the white men) even try to use it to brainwash black people's minds to keep us down in slavery.

Desrine Campbell, 24, Unemployed: "No, I don't think so, I think Christianity was started by us black people."
