Don't 'big up' criminals

THE EDITOR, Sir:

IT IS a very sad thing for me to read that anyone: person or organisation, is interviewing a 'most wanted criminal.'

Already, we (meaning the media), make dons feel that they are exactly that. When they are to be abhorred and strongly chastised because they are the worst of criminals. Now 'most wanted' men or women are given interviews!

It is indeed yet another sad day for decent, law-abiding Jamaicans who still believe it their duty to love and respect each other.

Please, no more 'bigging up' of criminal elements.

I am etc.,
