THE EDITOR, Sir:
The following is an open letter to Kingsley Thomas
It is with much pleasure that I send you this letter to congratulate you on the impressive record of performance you have been advancing in the service of our beloved country Jamaica.
The massive projects in the portfolio of the Millennium Projects are huge steps being taken by persons such as yourself in the ongoing drive to develop the infrastructural landscape of our homeland for the improvement of the quality of life of our people.
Your efforts are even more praiseworthy when viewed against the many other gifted and knowledgeable members of our society who would rather give their services to foreign causes, or who exult in finding fault with every honest effort of dedicated nationals who pledge to be loyal and true to their country.
You continue to lead the National Housing Trust with distinction and your work on the Highway 2000 project is another gem in the crown of your distinguished service to Jamaica. Congratulations on groundbreaking of that wonderful project. We all look forward to seeing its full implementation. I pray that God will continue to give you the strength and good health to enable you to complete your great work.
Best wishes.
I am, etc.,
PATRICK LAWRENCE J.P.
