The shame of Frome Technical

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE RECENT incident at the Frome Technical High School is nothing short of disgraceful. These rival gangs have made a mockery of the institution, the staff, students and authority in general.

The members of the gang who entered the school at 8 am. before their afternoon shift began should be expelled immediately because they purposely set out to disrupt the high school and to maim whomever and whoever they chose to.

As for the rival gang members who were attacked, they should be suspended for the role they played leading up to this fiasco.

Lastly, it is painfully clear that our high schools are not equipped to deal with these matters in an efficient manner when the need arises.

I am etc.,
