Excellent Radio Mona

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I SHOULD like to express through this medium my great delight at the advent of Radio Mona to the air-waves. The programming and quality of fare offered is excellent and surely does help to "grow the mind".

I am particularly appreciative of the music - classical and jazz - broadcast which is surely a welcome change from what is routinely offered by other stations.

I have one grouse, however, a great selection of classical music is played in the dusk to dawn slot, much of which may not be familiar to listeners. It would make listening that much more meaningful and interesting if we were given the titles, composers and performers of the pieces being played; then, if a piece strikes ones fancy, he/she would know what to order for his/her collection.

Think about it. It will further enhance the quality of your programme.

I am, etc.,

JOHN E. McDOWELL
