Jamaicans invited to UK agricultural show

THE INVITATION is open to Jamaicans interest to attend this year's biennial Royal Smithfield (Agricultural) Show to take place at Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London beginning Sunday 24 to Wednesday, November 27.

"Internationally, the Show's appeal continues to grow, with some 15 per cent of its visitor base from outside the UK. However, it is imperative to our exhibitors and the Show that we attract more overseas visitors", according to the Show's marketing manager, Rebecca MacFarlane in a letter to the British High Commission. In response the Embassy has extended the invitation to Jamaicans, in particular, to agriculture writers to attend the up coming Smithfield 2002 show.
