Sandals resort hails nurses

GENERAL MANAGER of Sandals Ocho Rios Michael Darby has lauded the contribution of nurses to the parish of St. Ann and hailed them as true Jamaican patriots.

Mr. Darby's comments came as 20 nurses attached to the St. Ann's Bay Hospital were hosted at a special dinner in their honour staged by the resort recently.

Mr. Darby noted that the evening's function was just a small way of saying thank you for the yeoman performance of the nurses throughout the year.

Matron Longcarr from the St. Ann's Bay Hospital expressed appreciation on behalf of the nurses for the special treat.
