Mello-Go-Round, Jamaica's premier family show will be held at the Jamaica 40 Village (Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre), Hope Road, beginning at 8 p.m. Featuring entertaining acts in dance, music, speech, traditional folk forms and drama from the 2002 Festival of the Performing Arts.
HARBOUR FEST 2002
Harbour Fest 2002 will be held at the Kingston Waterfront beginning at noon under the theme 'Kingston-Our City, Our Harbour'. Featuring marching bands, stalls for food and craft items, kiddies corner, entertainment, boat races and a street dance until 10 p.m. MCs: Fae Ellington, Paula-Ann Porter-Jones and Jerry D. Augus Mawin
Augus Mawnin, the Pantomime company's classic play on Emancipation, will be playing at the Little Little Theatre, Tom Redcam Drive. There will be a benefit performance at 3 p.m. and a public performance at 7:30 p.m.
The "Barbican Garden Affair" will be held today and Sunday at the Barbican Gardens, 2 Birdsucker Lane, Kingston 8. There will be over 3,000 plants to choose from. There will also be displays of garden furniture and supplies, art and craft plus many more exciting stuff.
