Keep up the good work fire-fighters

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD like to use this opportunity to commend the fire units from Ocho Rios and St. Ann's Bay for their quick response to a recent incident.

On the 16th of July a tree accidentally caught fire behind my house. I called the Ocho Rios unit who stated that their truck was 'overheating' but assured me they would contact the St. Ann's Bay unit for assistance.

The St. Ann's Bay unit arrived about 25 minutes later and extinguished the blaze. Thanks a million to the two units for such quick response. Keep up the good work.

I am, etc.,

MARVIN TYNDALL

Snow Hill

Ocho Rios, St. Ann
