Realistic and objective

THE EDITOR, Sir:

CONGRATULATIONS FOR publishing the excellent article by Dennis Morrison on the economy. It's a model of a cool and objective analysis of our current economic options, especially on the need for more revenue for the government budget, regardless of who wins the election.

That this can only come from more taxes (especially if one implements free high school education) should be obvious. The real questions are: How much? And who (which groups) are to bear the main burden?

I hope more such realistic articles are to follow from Dennis as well as from others.

I am etc.,
