A few good men

THE EDITOR, Sir:

PLEASE ALLOW me space to express my gratitude to Constable Peter Ankel and members of the Security Forces attached to the Ferry Police Station.

On the 24th of July 2002, I stopped at the station to seek help after my husband took sick on our way into Kingston. Without hesitation my husband was taken from our vehicle, placed into a patrol car and was taken to two separate hospitals before we were rendered assistance.

"To Serve and Protect" was well lived up to by Constable Ankel and the rest of his team from the Ferry Police Station.

Thank you from "the lady with the red pick-up".

I am, etc.,
