Jazzed up New trends for the office

Dress for success

WELL LADIES, it's that time again time to get some new clothes for the office. Some of you may now be coming off vacation leave and some of you may just want a change you know, out with the old, in with the new. Well in case you decide to restock your wardrobe and get some new suits for the workplace, we have some ideas for you.

Firstly, it is important to know that understatement is the hallmark of good dressing. After all, it is you who you are in business, not what you wear. Being noted for your flashy appearance is not the way to make your mark.

Whether your workplace is conservative and traditional, not too strict but not too lax either, or decidedly avant-garde, there are definite rules that apply to attire.

Avoid revealing clothes. Anything that is too low, too tight, too short or too sheer has no place in the office. Whether intentional or not, these clothes send the wrong message.

Flair has decided to help you make the right choices for your particular environment. The two-piece matching skirted suit is the most formal and professional option in office clothing for women. However, this is slowly changing. Pantsuits are excellent for the executive woman, but she can also don dress with a jacket. Wearing a jacket will always add a sense of completion and polish to a business look, but again, it all depends on your environment.

Flair visited Adrienne, located at the Hilton Kingston Hotel and sought to find some suitable pieces for the workplace, be it a very formal workplace or a semi-formal environment.
