TASTEE TALENT CONTEST

The final round of auditions for the 2002 series of the Tastee Talent Contest will be held at the Tastee Outdoor Theatre, Cross Roads beginning at 9 p.m. The audition is open to all talented persons living in Jamaica.

'MISS LOU CONCERT'

The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) will be staging The Miss Lou Concert, in tribute to Miss Lou, Jamaica's First Lady of Comedy at The Louise Bennett Garden Theatre, 36 Hope Road, Kingston 10, beginning at 7 p.m.

THE GENERAL'S INN

The General's Inn, a powerful play that looks at the life of a Jamaican family living in Bronx, USA, will return for two final performances at the Fairfield Theatre beginning at 8 p.m.

BEAUTY AND
TALENT CONTEST

The annual Mini-Miss Vineyard Town Beauty and Talent Contest will be held at the Life of Jamaica Auditorium, Knutsford Boulevard, Kingston 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

CELEBRITIES
FOOTBALL MATCH

Bull Bay's football field will be the venue of a clash between a Masters and Media Celebrities team against Entertainers. Dubbed Bring Back The Love, the event will feature the likes of Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Mr. Lexx, Mad Cobra, Courtney Walsh, Curtley Ambrose, Paul 'Tegat' Davis and many more. The event is set to kick off at 4 p.m.

TEEN LINK

The teen jam dubbed Teen Link is held at the Jonkanoo Lounge, Hilton Kingston Hotel, New Kingston, this and every Saturday. This Saturday Teen Link will feature cultural artiste Warrior King.

PUPPY LOVE

ART EXHIBITION

The Western Society of Fine Arts, will be hosting an art exhibition, titled Coming Together at the Montego Bay Civic Centre, Sam Sharpe Square, beginning at 5 p.m. Artists exhibiting includes: Suzzette Harriot, Milton Messam, Philip Tomlinson, Ken Sharpe and many more.

The Port Henderson Beach Park presents Fun Filled Family Sundays this and every Sunday at the Port Henderson Beach Park. The days events include bun eating contest, beer drinking contest, football, basketball, stage show, wet T-shirt contest and more. Gates open at 10 a.m. sharp. Admission: $30 for children and $50 for adults.

Benefit concert

An International World Hope and Benefit Concert dubbed Pray for Lovewill be held at the Hilton Kingston Hotel, New Kingston. Featuring Bunny Ruggs (Third World), Anthony Cruz, Mikey Spice and many more. MCs: Barry G, Captain Kirk and Chico. Doors open at 4 p.m., Showtime 6 p.m. Admission: $300 advance and $500 at the gate.

Exhibition

Members of the public are invited to view the exhibition entitled 1962. This exhibition which commemorates Jamaica's 40 years of Independence through a collection of photos, music, gifts to the nation, and a wide range of other mementoes. The exhibition is now on and will continue until October 31, 2002 at the Institute of Jamaica, 10-16 East Street, Kingston.

Sweet sounds

Celebrity Sports presents Penny For Your Thoughts, this and every Sunday at 4a Molynes Road. Music by Xxzibit. Admission: Bring a friend to spend.

Weekly juggling

A weekly juggling session is being held at the Little Copa Club every Sunday. Featuring juggling from Father Gemini of Gemini Disco. The session begins at 12 noon and goes up until midnight.
