THE EDITOR, Sir: It was reported that the thrust of Oliver Clarke's presentation at the University of the West Indies' (UWI) conference last weekend was that university must focus on the future and less on colonialism.

THE EDITOR, Sir: After reading Kerry Peart's letter to the Editor under the caption: 'Just Plain Lazy', I write to tell Kerry that it is not 'quite so'.
