I WAS particularly moved by the article written by Mr. Peter Espeut, Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church on the late Archbishop Samuel Carter. This should be published in a book known as Some Great Jamaicans and should include people like the Rev. Henry Ward, Rev. A.A. Barclay, Archdeacon Lennon, Dr. O. Grant, Wesley Powell, Roger Mais, Edith Dalton James, Desmond Gascoigne, W.B.C. Hawthorne and other men and women.
This book should be circulated to all schools with a view to inculcate patriotism, devotion and service to our children and succeeding generations. The list should also include others who have not been mentioned. Congrats, Peter.
