Bad sports(wo)manship!

THE EDITOR, SIR:

THIS is just to express my opinion on the recent temper tantrum expressed by our Sports and Tourism Minister, Portia Simpson Miller. The matter should have been dealt with by the Political Ombudsman.

He should have issued the Sports Minister with a yellow card, as is done in football, for being boisterous, publicly and then a red card for calling someone a liar.

This would mean that she wouldn't be able to do any more campaigning and/or participate in the next election.

This would certainly give her the opportunity to reflect on this "noisy rhetoric" as nothing more than just that and also cool off that bad temper of hers.

I am, etc,

FRANK HILL

Red Hills,

St. Andrew
