Rain - no play in Premier League

THE COMPETITIONS Committee of the Jamaica Football Federation has postponed all matches scheduled for today in the Wray and Nephew National Premier League.

A release sent by the JFF yesterday said: "The decision to postpone all the matches was due to the prevailing weather conditions and that most fields are in soggy if not unplayable conditions.

"The decision had to be made today (Saturday) as some teams usually travel overnight," the release said.

The matches scheduled for today were Harbour View vs Waterhouse at Harbour View Mini-Stadium, Tivoli vs Village at Railway Oval, Constant Spring vs Bull Bay at Constant Spring, Rivoli United vs Hazard at Prison Oval, Wadadah vs Arnett at Jarrett Park, Reno vs Seba United at Frome.

No new dates have been set as yet, but the competition will continue on Wednesday with Bull Bay vs Wadadah at Harbour View Mini-Stadium, Hazard United vs Reno at Ferdie Neita Sports Complex, Constant Spring vs Harbour View at Constant Spring, Seba vs Village at Jarrett Park, Waterhouse vs Rivoli at Emmett Park.
