Welcome back, Bruce!

THE EDITOR, Sir:

AFTER ALL these years, the JLP finally came to its senses and realised what a great asset they had in the man called Bruce Golding. It is great news that Bruce has returned to the JLP, with agreement reached on both sides. Jamaican politics is now getting interesting and the upcoming elections will be very exciting.

Bruce is an accomplished politician whose service in Government and Opposition is remarkable. He is amongst a fresh breed of politicians, with a refreshing outlook and ideology which is much needed in Jamaica at this time. Politicians such as Bruce Golding, Audley Shaw of the JLP & Peter Phillips of PNP should be recognised for their outstanding service to our country. They set a positive example, and have consistently displayed integrity, leadership, and style, true patriotism in our country which give us much hope and brighten Jamaica's future.

Let's get rid of the confrontational politics, the 'cas cas' tracing, the mismanagement and corruption, and get down to the serious business of moving Jamaica forward. Jamaicans need progress, our people deserve much better.

I am etc.,
