Let your voices be heard

THE EDITOR, Sir:

AS A Jamaican, it makes my stomach turn to see the state of the island. The infrastructure, particularly the roads, are abysmal across the island.

As Jamaicans, we have gotten so much lip service from the politicians without any action. It's time for the people of Jamaica to step forward and let their voices be heard. If we do not put demands on our leaders to deliver, then we have no right to complain.

The general election will be coming up soon. The PNP and the JLP are filling the airwaves with their propaganda. I see no distinction between the two parties with their lies and promises. It is time for the people of Jamaica to put aside their political allegiance and think about the overall good of the island. Let our voices be heard and votes be counted.

I am etc.,
