Bruce is where he belongs

THE EDITOR, Sir:

WHEN BRUCE Golding left the JLP, certain commentators who are sympathetic towards the People's National Party but who are antagonistic towards the Jamaica Labour Party, heaped praise on him saying how wonderful a Jamaican and how astute a politician he was.

Now that Bruce who has become much wiser after seven years and has returned to his 'first love' these same commentators/PNP sympathisers are calling the same Bruce Golding stupid and an opportunist.

The truth is that these commentators are JLP and Seaga-haters, who are jealous and frightened at the prospect that a Bruce Golding return may help propel the JLP to victory in the up-coming election. These commentators have always relished what they perceive to be a divided Jamaica Labour Party, but tremble at the thought of a united Jamaica Labour Party.

My suggestion is that these commentators/PNP sympathisers should get used to Bruce Golding being where he belongs "in the bosom of the Jamaica Labour Party".

I am etc.,
