Simpson Miller's wild rantings

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM aware that any criticism of any member of either of our major political parties at this time is considered support for the other side.

Yet notwithstanding that, I feel that as a concerned Jamaican I must express my displeasure at the behaviour of Mrs. Portia Simpson Miller as demonstrated in a news presentation on one of the television stations.

It appears as if she and a member of the Opposition are having a dispute but that certainly does not excuse the wild and out of control ranting that she displayed. As a senior member of Government and a Cabinet member, what example is she setting for young people and even her own supporters.

I submit that she owes the nation an apology.

I am, etc.,

WINSTON. A. DOUGLAS

Attorney-at-law
