I WOULD like to make a small comment about the recent drastic reduction in Cable & Wireless' weekend 'cellular to cellular' telephone rates. I must say when I heard 99 cents, I was impressed, but suspicious. Alas, my suspicions were not unfounded, as the ad quietly tells me that the rate applies only to post-paid customers.
I believe that C&W in its effort to create a hype, has let pass the opportunity to advertise the advantages of their post-paid packages. Maybe they would like to reconsider the angle they took with this one.
