Hall wants another fight with champion

WINTER HAVEN, Florida, CMC:

JAMAICA'S WORLD-rated light heavyweight boxer Richard Hall, already beaten twice in the past year by World Boxing Organisation (WBO) champion Dariusz Michalczewski, has named the unbeaten Poland-born fighter as still a desirable fight for him, the Fightnews web site reported yesterday.

Michalczewski, who fights out of Germany, overcame Hall in furious contests last December and again last month, and the 30-year-old Jamaican would like a third meeting for big money.

"I would fight him (Michalczewski) again, but for US$2 million," said Hall, who added that the first two bouts were sold out.

Hall, who has a ring record of 25 wins with 24 knockouts, against four losses, also named the World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and WBO's No. 1 contender Antonio Tarver, and top-10 fighters Eric Harding and Derrick Harmon opponents he would like to face.

Hall, who endured 11 rounds with the brilliant Roy Jones in May 2000 before he was stopped in 10 rounds, said he believed he is being stifled -probably because he is from a small country.

"Maybe because I am Jamaican," he said, when asked why his name is not mentioned among the division's elite.
