Chang, Allgrove appointed to Kingston Wharves' Board

Chairman of Kingston Wharves, A. Rafael Diaz has announced that two independent directors have been appointed to the Board of Kingston Wharves.

They are John Allgrove, C.D. and Anthony Chang.

Mr. Allgrove, who is a civil engineer, is a senior director of Wallace Evans Jamaica Ltd. Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers; he is responsible for project management, road and bridge works and infrastructure works generally.

Prior to this he served in the public sector as Chief Engineer and later Deputy General Manager at the Urban Development Corporation between 1969-1991 and in the Public Works Department from 1962-1969.

Anthony Chang is the immediate past President of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC). He is a business executive who has been a director of Consolidated Bakeries since 1982 and President of Falcon Corporation since 1992; he serves on a number of Boards including Jamaica Macaroni Ltd.; Chang Brothers Ltd. and Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Ltd.
