Optimistic on Golding

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HAVE one question to those who are calling Bruce Golding out on his return to the JLP.

Can you honestly say that the NDM or any other third party is a viable, or will be a viable agent of change in the Jamaican political system in the near future? I do not think so.

I admire their principles and ideals, but unfortunately, we live in reality. The best way to effect reform is to work with an established organisation. Whether or not Mr. Golding's return is politicking or the genuine article remains to be seen; but I choose to be optimistic.
