By Byron McDaniel, Gleaner Correspondent

WALDERSTON:

THE MINISTER of Tourism, Portia Simpson Miller, Wednesday night in Christiana issued a warning to JLP Deputy Leader Audley Shaw to seek the advice of his lawyer before carrying out his threats to release documents relating to alleged corruption in the New York office of the Jamaica Tourist Board.

The Minister, who was addressing a PNP mass meeting in the North East Manchester town, reiterated her resolve not to be drawn into any argument with Mr. Shaw. She called for peace leading up to the October 16 elections. The Minister arrived in the constituency at 2 p.m. and led a tour of the area before the 6 p.m. meeting.
