TWO photographs in The Gleaner of Wednesday, 9th October tell a great story of the men of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
On the front page is the picture of a Senior Superintendent reassuring a mother about her son. In that photograph the woman is surrounded by a number of other women who were supporting her. It was noticeable that the expression on the face of each of the women seemed to suggest that to them, the humanness of the Officer was almost unbelievable.
In the second photograph on page C11, the little boy, in spite of his placard, appears to be enjoying the security of the arms of a constable of the JCF.
Let us thank God for courage and for the compassion of the men and women of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
