I respect the electoral result

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I DID not get to vote; but I respect the decisions of my countrymen. We have come a far way. To make choices was not the way of bonded people. Even to debate was a privilege. I am not home but I have trust and confidence in the choice of my fellowmen.

I have followed every piece of news item from home; and I do think I have a fair view of what's going on. I wish I could have been a part of the process; but we have chosen otherwise. We are the people on the outside looking in...scattered abroad. But it will suffice my conscience to say to my people "your vote is my vote and your choice is my choice." No matter what you think of us 'Israelites' abroad.... We are forever Jamaicans. One love.

I am etc.,
