Ten share pools top dividend

TEN punters with maximum 32 points have shared the $79,116.00 first prize declared on last Saturday's Superday Racing Pools game, each receiving $7,911.60.

On a day when two-time 'Horse of the Year' MENUDO won the Red Stripe Superstakes for the fourth consecutive year, the six-year-old gelding was among the popular winners this time around, obliging as the 9-5 second favourite. Winning favourites were RESTLESS PEGASUS, DANZIG LA RAE, COURT CASE and POLISH STAR.

A breakdown of the other prizes is as follows:

65 second dividends of $260.80 each for 31 points.

156 third dividends of $108.60 each for 30 points. No fourth declared.

Sales totalled $228,331.50 on 1,172 coupons -- down from $259,388.50 and 1,426 coupons the previous week. The downturn in sales was attributed to Friday racing.
