In support of Adams

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD personally like to express my profound support for Senior Supt. Reneto Adams. I have listened to and analysed what Mr. Adams has said over the last few days and I have no doubt that we need more members in the Jamaica Constabulary Force who can openly and categorically state that they have never being associated with corruption in any shape or form and that they are committed 100 per cent to the Jamaican people.

I think Mr. Adams should be duly recognised by the JCF and indeed by Jamaicans on a whole for publicly stating his position. In the same breath, I would challenge the 12 members of the Crime Management Unit who abstained from work to publicly declare their non-involvement in corruption and also state their commitment to the Jamaican people. At this time more than ever, the Jamaican people need to stand behind Mr. Adams.

I say to Mr. Adams continue to do good, continue to serve the Jamaican people and most of all continue to be a man of integrity. God Bless you.

I am, etc.,

PATRICK WILKS
