Road and water woes
published: Friday | November 15, 2002

THE EDITOR, Sir:

LET ME thank the National Works Agency for repairing the Port Henderson (Back Road) to Portmore.

I am, however, extremely concerned about the manner in which these repairs were done. One would expect that proper drainage would be put in place so that if we get heavy rainfall again the water would be channelled into the sea.

It seems that more money will be wasted in the future to repair this road, instead of fixing it the correct way once and for all.

Where are the engineers who are supposed to ensure that road repairs are done in the correct manner?

I am, etc.,

WAYNE REYNOLDS
