Tony Clarke will be greatly missed
published: Friday | November 15, 2002

THE EDITOR, Sir:

ON BEHALF of the Student Environment Network, I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Anthony 'Tony' Clarke who recently passed away.

Mr. Clarke had been very instrumental in disseminating information to the network on a range of local environmental issues. He was a champion in addressing issues affecting the agricultural sector in particular the dairy industry. He was also influential in facilitating research and archaeological digs on the Taino culture.

During my brief association with Mr. Clarke I have been able to receive useful information on the prospects of sustainable agricultural practices and the role of agriculture in nation-building. Mr. Clarke will be greatly missed.

I am, etc.,

ALDANE MARAGH

Adviser,

Student Environment Network
