Pantomime and the Ward
THE EDITOR, Sir: AS A 'first nighter' to the Christmas Pantomime over the years, I am greatly disturbed at the uncertainty which surrounds the staging of this year's Pantomime at the Ward Theatre.

Rewarding crowd indiscipline
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE THIRD One Day International cricket match in the recent series between India and the West Indies is now history but I have a problem with the final decision.

Concerning a state of emergency
THE EDITOR, Sir: CRIME AND violence are at their highest in my living memory. This is true of its volume (now about six a day) and of its kind (includes babies).

Errol Percival Campbell
THE EDITOR, Sir: I AM Sharon Lindsay, and I would like to contact Errol Percival Campbell, born on September 18, I think in 1957. His father's name is James Campbell and mother's (biological) is Eugennie Robinson.

Putting crime in remission
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WOULD like to echo the sentiments of the Honourable Oliver Clarke in saying that crime in Jamaica is a manageable problem.

Michael Peart deserves to be a Minister
THE EDITOR Sir: IT IS mind-boggling to see the manner in which the talents of the Member of Parliament for South Manchester have been used or rather misused by the Patterson administration.

Most Jamaicans are violent
THE EDITOR, Sir: WHY IS everyone so surprised that one of the snipers is a Jamaican?

Crime levels are abnormal and abhorrent
THE EDITOR, Sir: HOW MANY more funerals do we have to attend before we finally accept that the level of violence in our country is abnormal and abhorrent! We attend the funerals of colleagues, neighbours, family members, grieve for a while...

What next will we sell?
THE EDITOR Sir: THIS IS in regard to the divestment of Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay.

Plaudits for Dave Myrie
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WISH to congratulate Mr. Dave Myrie of Wolmer's for doing such a fantastic job with the young men of that institution.

Remove Rodney's statue
THE EDITOR, Sir: IN YOUR story, "Lewis Hutchinson: The Mad Master,"I saw that the statue of Admiral Rodney stands in Spanish Town Square.

Too much talk, too little action
THE EDITOR, Sir: IT SEEMS to me that while our leaders search for answers to the crime problem the criminals and hoodlums get bolder.
