A skilled JUTC driver

THE EDITOR, Sir:
KINDLY ALLOW me to say "big up" to a JUTC bus driver for his skilfulness.
I was travelling on a No. 44 bus on Wednesday, November 13, 2002, at about 5:30 p.m. (the bus was 44/12). The bus was travelling along Red Hills Road and upon approaching Elizabeth Avenue, a green Mitsubishi drove out in the path of the bus. The driver applied his brakes, but if it was the brake alone I am sure there would have been fatalities. It was the shear class and skilfulness of the driver that averted the mishap.
I just like to say "big up" to him on a job well done. We need more drivers like him on the road.
