Disregarding the truth

THE EDITOR, Sir:
I AM simply amazed that your columnist Dawn Ritch, without checking, could have written in her article on Sunday, November 24, 2002 that I led, after the elections of October 16, a delegation to Europe.
I led no such delegation, neither have I been to Europe since the elections.
The expression of one's opinion, even if jaundiced, is one thing, but a blatant disregard for the truth is another.
