Congrats Candy Cab
published: Wednesday | December 4, 2002

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE COMBINED Disabilities Association (CDA) uses this medium to congratulate Candy Cab Ltd. on the bold initiative which one of its drivers, Mr. Ian Pounall took, to reconfigure his taxi in order to accommodate persons with disabilities, especially those who use wheelchairs.

This is a step in the right direction as it will provide persons with disabilities who use wheelchairs and would like to travel independently and get the opportunity to do so. Not only will they travel in privacy, but with dignity, and this will allow them the freedom to travel at their own will and in comfort. The CDA looks forward to the expansion of this service.

We also use this opportunity to offer our support and assistance wherever necessary in this venture.

We are, etc.,

COMBINED DISABILITIES

ASSOCIATION LTD.
