Walsh, Samuels square off

FORMER JAMAICA and West Indies captain Courtney Walsh and national captain Robert Samuels will be the opposing captains at the Milo/Melbourne cricket festival scheduled for Melbourne Oval on Sunday starting at 10:00 a.m..
Walsh, holder of the world record for the most wickets in Test cricket, will lead the Melbourne Invitational XI, and Samuels will lead the Jamaica XI in a 50-over match that will see $60,000 going to the winners.
The Melbourne Invitational XI will include Barbadians Philo Wallace, Floyd Reifer and Ian Bradshaw, Trinidadians Andy Jackson and Ravi Rampaul, Guyanese Colin Stuart and Grenadian Devon Smith with the Jamaica XI including most of the players who were on the winning Busta Cup team earlier this year.
The teams: Melbourne Invitational XI from, Walsh - captain, Smith, Jackson, Wallace, Reifer, Bradshaw, Rampaul, Stuart, Howard Harris, Donovan Pagon, Carlton Baugh Jnr., Llewelyn Meggs, Leon Bent, Aubrey Wollaston.
