Please, have justice in mind
published: Friday | December 6, 2002

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD like to quote from Plato, "I should like to know also whether injustice, having this tendency to arouse hatred, wherever existing, among slaves or freemen, will not make them hate one another and set them at variance and render them incapable of common action?"

As you institute all your measures to cure your crime/corruption problems, please have justice in mind. Please remember that when the poor, ignorant and disenfranchised see injustice, they think that it is their licence to steal from and kill their fellowmen.

I am etc.,

I. DOUGLAS
