Cuba-Carib summit will strengthen links
THE WELCOMING of 14 heads of state and Government officials from the Caribbean marks the beginning of a summit, which local media consider an important event to strengthen relations between Cuba and the rest of the region.

Specialised training needed for members of JDF
SPECIALISED TRAINING would be a must for members of the JDF who are currently working alongside police officers on the volatile streets of Kingston and St. Andrew, in Government's latest offensive against the raging crime wave.


JCF shows promise but more needs to be done
MORE THAN 100 impressed citizens have called the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) between June 2001 and November 2002 expressing satisfaction with its new service as outlined in the recently-published police's Citizens' Charter.
