Mickleton Meadows says thanks

THE EDITOR, Sir:
PLEASE GRANT on behalf of the residents of Mickleton Meadows, to thank Hon. Bobby Pickersgill, our Member of Parliament, sincerely for beginning to fix our deplorable streets, at last. Allow me to take time out to say that many residents also congratulate him on his return to Parliament as our representative.
Apparently, a good job is being done on the streets of Mickleton Meadows sub-division by contractor, Mr. Ken Kelly and his crew. The fervent wish of the residents is that Mr. Kelly will be provided with the funds to complete our road improvement. There are nine streets totalling 2.4 kilometres. Residents, through Mr. Samuel Whittaker, former president of Mickleton Meadows Citizens Association, and other MMCA officers, have been incessantly pleading, since 1992, to Hon. Robert Pickersgill to assist us to upgrade these streets. We presume nothing happens before an auspicious and suitable time. Sincere thanks to MP Pickersgill.
