Jamaica Gleaner Letters
published: Monday | January 6, 2003

Plant more food
THE EDITOR, Sir: AS THE clouds of war loom across the face of the earth, we in Jamaica must take stock of what such a prospect means for us.

Dreams and fancies?
THE EDITOR, Sir: I READ with amusement an article published by The Gleaner on the 27th December, 2002, in the financial report by Robert Stephens headed, "The Way Forward For Jamaica."

A pack of e-jokers
THE EDITOR, Sir: I HOPE you will accommodate my view on a vexing technological issue that has emerged in the Jamaican. A large percentage of people (including those in senior managerial positions) have proved themselves to be a 'pack of e-jokers.'

Please stop the killing
THE EDITOR, Sir: IT IS a new year; the past one is history and we can with praise and thanksgiving rejoice in the Almighty One above for sparing our lives to see 2003.

Not a laughing matter
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WRITE this letter to highlight how much in Jamaica we continue to have a serious class/colour prejudice still existing among us in today's modern era of 2002.
