US stocks end higher
NEW YORK, (Reuters): STOCKS EDGED up yesterday after initially falling in reaction to the Federal Reserve's widely expected decision to stand pat on interest rates, which some analysts saw as a sign the economy may not be weakening further.

Oil jumps as Iraq war looms
NEW YORK, (Reuters): OIL PRICES shot up another 3 per cent yesterday, with a big drop in U.S. winter heating fuel stocks deepening oil supply worries as the White House prepares for possible war with Iraq.
