Baby re-united with mother

The five day-old baby that was abducted by two women from his home at First Avenue, Eight West, Greater Portmore, St. Catherine on Wednesday evening was reunited with his mother this morning.

The Constabulary Communication Network Metro Officer reports that between 11:40 p.m. and 12:40 p.m., an operation was carried out by the Hunts Bay Police at Olympic Way, Kingston 11 during which premises at Olympic Gardens were searched and the baby was found. A female occupant at the house reportedly jumped through a window and made good her escape.

The child's mother was informed and the baby subsequently handed over to her.

The Hunts Bay police are investigating.
