Plaudits for the postal service

THE EDITOR, Sir:
Recently a package was mailed to me from Boston University in the USA., which contained cash and kind. I waited for over six weeks and ultimately gave up hope because of the stigma attached to our postal service, especially during the Christmas season.
To my amazement the package finally arrived. Its seal was broken and it was resealed with a tape marked "open for customs inspection". I became hysterical but was pleasantly surprised to find cash and kind intact even though the envelope which contained the cash was opened.
I must commend the postal service for upholding honesty and integrity. I say "Big up" to you. I am indeed overwhelmed with joy to know that we still have honest and hard working civil servants around. Keep up the good work!
