Life for life

THE EDITOR, Sir:
GOD DID not specifically say we are to hang murderers. What God emphatically said was "Whoso sheddeth man's blood by man shall his blood be shed. For in the image of God created he man". Neither did God say this will stop killing. God knows better for it is into the hearts of men to do evil continually. However, life is sacred; therefore, the demand for life is life and God has given power to all states to carry out this justice in the name of God. Life for life.
All the talk about deterrent is only escape and excuse for human rights groups who are opposing God's justice and trying to hold up themselves to be more loving, more kind, more merciful than God. So let these holier than thou so-called human rights groups stop perverting God's justice.
