Phone card prices

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I DO not understand why there are several prices for a phone card. I was of the opinion that if GCT is charged it should be at the fixed rate set by the government. In the area where I live, each shop charges between 15 per cent and 30 per cent on a phone card. Please, please help me by telling me how much extra I should pay on a card.
