Customs reports system failure

THE JAMAICA Customs Department said it has been experiencing technical problems with its computer system and therefore customers may experience difficulties sending import entries by the electronic mail system or paying duties and taxes.
In a release yesterday, the Department apologised for any inconvenience that might have been caused and assured the importing public that "we are working in collaboration with our service provider to have this problem resolved as soon as possible.
