Reggae Boyz leave for Venezuela

THE REGGAE Boyz are now in Venezuela for Thursday's friendly international football match against the South American side.
Headed by technical director Carl Brown, the 18-man squad left the island yesterday. They will return home on Friday.
The local-based squad includes goalkeeper Aaron Lawrence, Shawn Sawyers, Claude Davis, Shavar Thomas, Robert Scarlett, Fabian Dawkins, Omar Daley, Damion Williams, Damion Stewart, Nicholas McCreath, Roen Nelson, Cornel Chin-Sue, Linval Dixon, Gerald Neil, Jonathan Williams, Jermaine Hue, Oneil Dunn and Christopher Nicholas.
Accompanying the players are head of delegation Everton Tomlinson, coach peter Cargill, goalkeeper coach Paul Campbell, manager Howard Bell, physician Dr Glenton Smith, equipment manager Ian Hylton and press officer Earl Bailey.
On the local scene, six games are on this Sunday as the Wray & Nephew National Premier League football competition resumes at different venues.
The games scheduled are Bull Bay vs. Hazard, Constant Spring vs. Village, Arnett Gardens vs. Wadadah, Seba vs. Waterhouse, Rivoli vs. Harbour View and Reno vs. Tivoli Gardens.
Meanwhile, 24 players have been summoned to the national under-17 football camp for the upcoming friendly international games against the United States. The games will be held between April 3 and 10. Among those called are US-based players Phillip Hall and Andrew Clifton. The rest of the list reads Marlon Benbow, Richard Kentish, Andrew Fraser, Bryan Bayliss, Kevon Elliot, Donovan Miller, Anthony Christie, Ricardo Ximines, Christopher Williams, Keneil Moodie, Steven Morrissey, Nicholas Lynch, Troy Watson, Rocky Baronette, Tedroy Watson, Kemar Munroe, Fidel Anderson, Ricardo Cousins, Erron Brown, Duwayne Kerr, Kevaughn White and Tristan Cunningham.
