Concerned about road conditions
published: Thursday | April 10, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

RESIDENTS OF both the Gibraltar Heights Housing Scheme and the Iterboreale Heights Housing Scheme in Annotto Bay have and continue to express concern over the existing condition of the roads in both schemes.

Apart from the fact we have to be paying high taxes for services to our community which we are not receiving, those of us with transportation, almost on a weekly basis have had to be trekking to the mechanic and auto parts shops etc., in order to effect repairs, due to damage to our vehicles caused by the conditions of the roads.

The road surfaces are almost non-existent; there is the need for water table and sidewalks to be constructed as well as general improvements to the roads.

I am, etc.,

HUGH BRYAN

Annotto Bay P.O.

St. Mary
