THE EDITOR, Sir:
I WRITE to express my concern at the high fares on Air Jamaica's Nassau-Kingston route. We do recognise the fact that recent events on the international scene necessitate an increase in air fares, but to have to pay close to US$500 is a bit ridiculous.
May I suggest that Air Jamaica re-introduce a seven-day fare on this route. This, I am sure would prove to be of mutual satisfaction to management and passengers alike.
Jamaica is still our home, we are so near, yet so far... Thanks to the exorbitant air fares!
